The Yellow Green Farmers Market

One of the most anticipated events in Hollywood this year (our Hollywood, not the one in California) was the recent grand opening of the Yellow Green Farmers Market, a farmer's market / crafts market / food court housed in a converted warehouse right down the street from us. Robert walked over there when it first opened and I finally felt well enough to go see it yesterday. The 300 vegetable and craft vendors were interesting, but the thing I liked best were the life-size statues of cows everywhere. I knew I had to blog about it, but would I really be able to find a photo of a senior woman with a life-size facsimile of a cow?

You bet! Here I am re-creating a photo at the new Yellow Green Farmers Market.

And here's the original photo, of a woman in New Zealand standing next to her cow kite. So far, the Yellow Green Farmers Market has been drawing huge crowds. It'll be interesting to see how it does once the novelty wears off.

Your photo looks much better, as usual, LOL!! Glad to hear that you are starting to feel better.

You sure look better than the woman in New Zealand, and we're so glad to see you well enough to venture out. And so glad to see you blogging again - we missed your wonderful re-creations.

You really had to travel far to get the lady and cow. That was some kite.
I agree, yours is better.
