Brisk walking

Today's photo comes from an article called Brisk Walking Routine Sharpens Memory As We Age. It's about a study of 120 sedentary senior adults who were divided into two groups - one that walked briskly for 40 minutes three times a week, and one that just did stretching and toning exercises. After a year, it turned out the walking group had better memory - and bigger brains! - than the stretching group.

Here we are re-creating the photo from the article at Hollywood Beach this afternoon.

And here's the original photo. Of course, the way I found the article was by spending hours and hours sitting sedentarily at the computer looking for photos to re-create. But isn't photo re-creating a great hobby? Not only did it get us out of the house and walking, but we got to hold hands, too!

Still laughing at your sedentary search.
Guess if you just stretch, you are limber but have no idea where you are.
Think I will do both.

You both always look much younger than the original models. Must be all that fresh ocean air & walking, LOL!
