On the Broadwalk

As soon as I saw today's photo, I knew I had to re-create it. It's from AvMed, the Medicare company, and it was taken right on the Hollywood Beach Broadwalk (some people say "boardwalk" but it's really "broadwalk"), the 2-mile walkway along Hollywood Beach where I've spent so many enjoyable hours since Robert and I first moved to Hollywood in 1969.

Here I am re-creating the photo in the same place it was taken, on the Broadwalk near Michigan Street, just past the Sheldon Hotel (which is now getting remodeled).

And here's the original photo. It was a beautiful day at Hollywood Beach, but of course, I've never seen one that wasn't.
