Here we are re-creating the photo on the steps of the Hollywood City Hall this afternoon. It would have been nice to go to Yellowstone, but we hate to leave Joey in a kennel so we very rarely travel.
Here's the original photo. One interesting thing about this photo is that it's cold enough for both of them to be wearing long sleeves - and she's wearing long pants - but did you notice what he's wearing? Shorts! All I can think of is that he must have hot legs. (Luckily, Robert has hot legs, too.) Well, it was fun to visit Yellowstone vicariously, and if we ever really do go, now we know what to wear. Thanks, Veronica!

Thanks for the credit for the idea, but you made it come alive, Florida-style! Hey, just throw Joey in the back seat and head out west! Or, perhaps he would like a nice student baby dog sitter, they're full of love and attention and can always use a few bucks. My cats, and even my plants and my mail, have all done very well under the care of students (well, ok, one in particular, who was extra lovely but then she graduated and has now become happily engaged and lives out in the 'burbs, so we use a professional sitter now) so we can fly off to Yellowstone without any worries :-)
You two look so peaceful!
This was a pretty awesome idea. I would love to visit Yellowstone one day... but chances are, I'll just keep going to Florida instead.
I like the idea of taking Joey along on a driving vacation, LOL. I bet he would, too? Yes, there are so many doggy care sitters nowadays, professional & students, Joey would probably be content with some new friends while you folks travel.

Perhaps you decided to go to Yellowstone; haven't seen a new blog lately, LOL!
I have worn shorts and long sleeves every single day this summer. Once school is out, I wear shorts every day if possible...but when the days start out cold, long sleeves are a must. You see this every single day in the PNW.
