Taking a break
I'm going to take a break from the chicken blog. Doing photo re-creations takes a lot of shopping and planning, and lately I just feel shopped and planned out. So it's time to take a break, and if I want to come back to it, I will. If not, thank you to everyone who's taken the time to read, comment, and support the chicken blog. It's been fun!

We will miss your photo re-creations and interesting write-ups but I can imagine they were a lot of work since you did them so well and quite often.
I can hear Joey saying that perhaps you can post a photo of him now and then! (giggle)

Thanks for all your efforts, and your loyal assistant, Robert. Perhaps some occasional blogs on a variety of topics would be less stressful.
Don't blame you a bit and am thinking about making the same move myself. You had such a great idea, but I completely understand the work involved. Sometimes, you just need to stop blogging and start living!! Have fun.
Say it ain't so!!! Hope you miss blogging and return but if you choose not to, enjoy all that free time you will now have.

i completely agree with Arkansas Patti, say it ain't so ! oh, oh, i will miss the chicken blog. I understand completely though as someone who hasn't worked on her blog in awhile.....taking a break.........I've always enjoyed the chicken blog - it always makes me smile + you both look like you're having so much fun doing it. Frankly I consider it very effective laughter therapy -and that's worth a lot !!!!!! LOL........have you ever heard of Loretta LaRoche ? Plus I got to see so many different places in Hollywood, Florida..........plus i met Molly via your blog ! so many good things, maybe you'll reconsider every now + then, but if not, have fun !
